Let’s take a look at how you record an Alfred Note.

In this Org, the Alfred component has been added to the right hand side of Contacts, Accounts, Opportunities and other objects. We’re looking at a contact here called Mario.

We’ve just had a phone call with Mario and want to quickly capture the notes from that call. What’s exciting about Alfred is that we don’t need to type our notes. We can just speak an update into Salesforce and Alfred handles all the admin. Let’s take a close look.

We click on Hey Alfred and Alfred gets ready to record your audio.

In this instance, we also have some recording hints here to help us remember what we need to say in our note. You can customise the hints for your organisation or the type of record you’re updating.

Let’s leave a quick note about the call we just had.

“Spoke with Mario about adding new Alfred licences to his org. He is hiring a new team of SDRs and wants them to be using Alfred to record their meetings and notes. They will start in 6 weeks time so we need to send over the new contract to him by the end of this week at the latest.”

Once we stop recording, we can listen again to our recording and choose to re-record it if we wish. Or we can confirm that Alfred should process it.

Alfred takes some time to process audio notes typically between 30 seconds and a couple of minutes. This is because Alfred is doing a lot of work for you behind the scenes!

First of all Alfred transcribes your note, then the AI works on preparing the summary, suggests next step tasks and drafts a follow up email for you to use.

Let’s speed this up and see if this note has now been processed.

And there it is. We can click on the different options here to see what Alfred has captured. A summary, suggested next steps that can be turned into Salesforce tasks, and here’s the follow-up email.

We can edit these notes and tasks if we need to.

That’s quite a lot of time saved versus adding those updates manually.

ly the same as for the Note type of audio note.
